Do you remember that film clip from like 10 years ago for the song ‘Call on Me’ by Eric Prydz? It was basically shown in just about every club for like all of 2004 and 2005.
Well a group on cancer patients have remade the film clip and it is awesome. Seriously.
The video has been produced by Norwegian organisation, Aktiv Mot Kreft (‘Active Against Cancer’), which was established in 2007 to provide physical activity services to cancer patients. You can go here to see the mini-documentary on the making of the clip.
Life Update
It’s been a pretty mixed-bag of a week ’round these parts. Last week I tore a calf muscle while training at the gym, which has meant I’ve been on crutches and pretty much unable to walk. I was basically over by day two, and now I’m just on this frustrating wait for my leg to heal enough that I can get back into walking and exercise.
However, this has made me thankful that I have a job that I can do from just about anywhere – the couch, bed, the study. Oh and I’m also extremely thankful for a very caring boyfriend who has been carrying the load for the past week – as well as doing all the cooking and cleaning, he’s had to take me to appointments and fetch countless glasses of water and snacks for me. Such a great guy. (Also great – painkillers.)
This whole being unable to move thing has meant that I’ve been getting a lot of work done. I recently launched my website copywriting package for small businesses and have had a great response. I’m also going to be launching my new blog writing packages, plus there’s going to be an upcoming course on rocking your email list for product or service based businesses.
All that is to say that things are very exciting right now. My plate is not yet full though, so if you need a writer for your blog or business – on topics ranging from finance to small business and everything in between – then get in touch.

Another reason why the modeling business is essentially flawed – this model had her pay withheld until she lost more weight.
Yes, you’re a victim of lifestyle inflation.
Also, the way we do anything is the way we do anything.
“Let’s pretend I’m in your home right now. Take a moment and open your closet. Are there a bunch of clothes in there you never wear, but continue to hold on to, just in case? If so, I’m betting there are people in your life that don’t match who you are or who you really want to be, yet you continue to hold on to them in fear of standing alone. If that doesn’t fit, how about this? I’m betting there is a job you’re holding on to that you don’t love, but you’re settling for what is, not what you want to be.”
I’m on a mission to reduce our grocery bill and use up the (mountain) of food in our cupboard. On the menu is this and this.
Happy Sunday!
